The first for second quarter The Lost Journals of Ven Polypheme: The Dragon's Lair by Emily Haydon. Illustrations by Bret Helquist. Pages read: 372
Ven was able to make peace with the dragon named Scarnag, which means scourge. His real name was Garnax and the Nain from the Northlands brought him to save him from a great evil and since dragons love knowledge and they hoard it, he would preserve their history. But they trapped him in a cave even though it was for his own good, or so they thought. But family is more important than anything to dragons, and they betrayed him. So when they finally found what used to be Garnax, he laid waste to their villages. He said that he will stop if the Nain would say sorry. They did and the book ends where Ven is about to go under water with Amariel and explore her world.
I am going to find out when the next book is coming out called The Tree of Water. I wonder what happens when he's under water with her?
The word I chose was inhabitant. An inhabitant is the people or animals that live in an area. ex: The inhabitants of the village are Native Americans.

This book is the third in a series. Bobby Pendragon is trying to stop Saint Dane, the bad guy, from making the blimp Hindenberg from not going down on May 6 1937. If that happens, then the Nazi's will get the technology to create a nuclear bomb! Then life will end for many people all over the world. Luckily, he was able to drive a 1937 car to where the blimp crashes and tries to blow it up with the guy who was going to but can't since 36 people will die in 37 seconds. He's about to stop it when his friend nicknamed Gunny stops him. Then the miniature rocket filled with flammable stuff flew up to the blimp and blew it up. They were able to stop Saint Dane this time, but next time they might not be so lucky.
